For the past ten years, the Whatcom Chamber of Commerce has hosted an awards dinner to celebrate the business community in our area. The dinner will bring together over 400 local business leaders to highlight our best and brightest in four categories:

• Small Business (1-20 employees)
• Large Business (21+ employees)
• Green Business
• Nonprofit

The awards are given based on votes from the community, which can be submitted here. The nominees are judged based on several criteria including ethics and integrity, contribution to the community, and (for the Green and Nonprofit categories) purpose of the organization. Individual awards will also be awarded in the following categories:

• Best Man and Best Woman
• Young Professional
• Tourism Partner
• Chamber Ambassador

The Awards Dinner represents a great chance to network with some of the most influential members of the Bellingham business community, while also enjoying great local food, wine, and entertainment. The dinner will take place at the Bellingham Best Western Lakeway Inn on Thursday, December 4th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Reservations must be made by November 21st, and seating is limited.
