The benefits of hiring a college graduate for your business should be a no-brainer for most business owners. The WWU Career Services Center and College of Business and Economics are co-hosting the annual WWU Fall Business Career Fair on November 6th, to help businesses and students connect and forge relationships.

The level of training and communication skills that graduates bring to the table make them valuable employees, and they often have enthusiastic attitudes and open minds. At the Career Fair businesses have the opportunity to meet hundreds of highly motivated students looking for careers and internships. Hiring businesses can collect resumes from qualified soon-to-be graduates. The fair also offers a great opportunity to spread awareness about your business and network with other companies, faculty, staff, and students.

The fair also offers business leaders the chance to meet and make connections with the officers and members of the WWU Student Business Clubs. Some of the clubs attending include:

• Accounting Society
• American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS)
• Economics Association
• Financial Management Association
• Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA)
• Professional Women’s Association
• Student Marketing Association

The event will take place in the Wade King Recreation Center on campus from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Pre-registration and a $325 fee is required through Viking CareerLink. The fee includes:

• A 3’ x 6’ table at the event
• Wi-fi
• Access to power outlets upon request
• 1 vehicle parking permit
• Free coffee, tea, and water
• 2 lunches
• Promotional services prior to the event
• Interview rooms following the event if needed
